Janelle Friedman, CPCU
With over 30 years of experience working for insurance carriers, brokers, and managing general underwriters, Janelle brings a unique combination of knowledge and experience to Jester Insurance and to her clients.
Janelle manages the Safety Group Program for Iowa’s public schools and also works directly with a select group of clients. She serves as a speaker on various insurance issues for the Iowa Association of School Boards, the Iowa Association of School Business Officials, and the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities.
Janelle is a member of United Way’s Women United program and has volunteered at the Young Women’s Resource Center, helping to ensure that the younger members of our community are on a path to success.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ASPECT OF WORKING AT JESTER?
I know that I can really make a difference for our clients and the programs we manage. I’m able to be a strong advocate for them when needed, or sometimes simply help to navigate the often-confusing world of insurance. I don’t just sell insurance, I help to solve problems and put people at ease.
